First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ is a historic urban church; a friendly church with a strong sense of mission and a diverse congregation. Sunday's begin with adult Christian education and bible study, while the children and youth get their opportunity to meet for Sunday school during the service. After church each week, we gather for a warm and lively fellowship hour. 

The life of our church, however, does not end on Sunday. We house the city's largest affordable daycare center and serve as the intake center for the local homeless shelter. Our social and spiritual life thrives with seasonal events and activities such as special devotional services and ecumenical worship opportunities.

We enjoy an annual picnic, a strawberry festival, a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and many other activities. Prayer breakfasts for women and men offer other opportunities to fellowship and pray together.

Our Youth are active, with educational and fun fellowship opportunities for all ages.
