About the The Board of Deacon's

The deacons are primarily involved in the worship life of the church,
working closely with the pastor to assure that the spiritual needs of
the membership are met through worship activities, visitation, and
care. The nine members of the Diaconate meet at least once a month to
address the concerns of the church and, working closely with the
pastor, to plan and carry forward the various worship activities of
the church. They also oversee the music ministry of the church.
Our meeting day is the first Tuesday of each month. Please feel
free to talk to any one of us about worship at First Congregational
