Type casting??? Such sinister accusations!!!” Patty Driever said in a recent e-mail.
What are we talking about? Why our Mystery Dinner Theater of course.
It's taking place at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 2nd. Patty has been accused of typecasting the roles.
Watch the familiar faces you know bring this comedy to life and see if you agree that the roles were typecast! Will Patty be cleared?
Murder, Mayhem and Marshmallow Salad: A church potluck seems benign enough a setting, right? Ha! Something’s come up missing, and it’s the beloved marshmallow salad. This scandalous discovery is only the tip of the iceberg.
But it’s not really about the marshmallow salad. Something else sinister takes place. Who is the real villain? Is it the ever so nerdy and bland pastor? Is it the bizarre-o clad-all-in-black Phil (osopher)? Or drama queen wanna-be Molly Kean? How about the unemployed pastor, who is manic about networking, or someone you’d least expect, like the no-nonsense matronly Tess? You will put on your detective hats to try to solve the case as you enjoy dinner.
Tickets are just $15 for adults, $10 for students and children, those under age 2 are free. Speak to Patty Driever or call the church office (454-2960) to buy tickets and reserve your seat! We’re hoping for a sell-out crowd. Bring your friends, bring your neighbors, heck, bring your friend’s neighbors, just let us know you’re coming!
